2010 Baseball Registration dates:

Saturday March 27th (ages 8-10 Peters Park 10am) (ages 11-12 Peters noon) (ages 13-15 Rice Field 10am)

*your age as of 5/1/10* Registration for new players and players moving up in division. Players returning to last years team do not need to attend. Bring a copy of proof of age, and be prepared to play ball.

Registration dates for Softball and Rookie Ball posted soon.

Boston Astros winter workouts: Saturdays during January and February at 2pm sharp. Workouts continue every Saturday, bring sneakers-glove-workout gear. Open to all players ages 13-18. Any coaches interested in joining the Astros please attend.

Our Mission

Provide a comprehensive youth Baseball and Softball program to the South End community including Roxbury, Dorchester and Chinatown. Stress the importance of teamwork, commitment and fair play. Recruit and train quality adult volunteers commited to properly teaching the life lessons available through organized sports. Allow any child, aged 4 through 18, a chance to participate regardless of ability (no 'cuts') and financial means (no fee).

The South End competes in several tournaments throughout the State and beyond. All teams travel as the Boston Astros, the MLB team name of choice for South End players since 1979. Some highlights from the 08/09 tourney season:
